The Best Restaurant In Mesa, Arizona
So you know how on our homepage we mentioned that we go to all these networking events and constantly get recommendations on where to go? Well, for choosing our best restaurant in Mesa, we kind of cheated. We basically read this article in Trip Advisor about a place called T.C. Eggington's and how it was the number one rated in Mesa, Arizona. When we saw this we both did not recognize the name of this restaurant so our curiosity was certainly sparked. Mesa has a population of over 500,000 residents so needless to say we definitely aren't aware of every single restaurant in the city... but not knowing about the number one rated restaurant? We were a bit shocked and knew this would require some further investigation on our part. After reading the article we set a date for that Saturday morning to check out the so called King of breakfast in Mesa.
When we rolled up to this place, we knew we were in for a treat. We have never once been to a place with a long line that wasn't worth the wait, and T.C.'s had a line. We put our name in and grabbed some coffee at a small donut shop next door to kill some time while we were waiting. It only took about 10-15 minutes for our table to be ready which wasn't nearly as bad as we thought it was going to be. Once we were seated in our booth we started scanning over their menu and quickly saw some options that I had never personally seen before. To give you one example, there was an omlette on their menu that came with havarti cheese and slices of pear inside of it. A little different but it still sounded really good. They had a huge variety which is great because we like to dine out with friends and choosing a place with picky eaters can become a challenge. You don't have to worry about a lack of options at this place! I wound up getting the bacon omlette that had chopped tomatoes, spinach, and a mix of havarti and pepper jack cheese, and was also served with skillet potatos and an english muffin. My hubby had the waffles with sausage and fresh fruit. We were both in heaven while eating our breakfast and have since been back ten times. Yes, I said ten times! This restaurant is a little more expensive than other breakfast spots but like we said, they still have a wait on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday because the food is so darn good! If you're a little tight on money, save up and make this one of your restaurant musts. Once you do go to T.C.'s, e-mail us here about your experience!
